These days, he continues to DJ while focusing on music production and live performances as UGNG.

Skirtts Sounds came out of Outskirtts, his New York fashion brand, and the two share an eye for how something should feel. Long Island raised and New York based, he works in disco, funk, baile funk and hip hop, with a preference for spaces where the music and the room feel like one idea. He has played across New York, Los Angeles and Montreal, often curating the wine list alongside the mix so the pour and the playlist arrive at the same place. Nicholas Gazin

Nicholas Gazin was born in New York City in 1983. He edited a punk magazine called Trashed, modeled for Uniqlo, booked garage rock parties called Midnight Til Death, was a designer/copywriter/photographer/video host for the clothing company Mishka, had several art shows, was a nightlife photographer, directed some videos, was Vice Magazine's art editor. As an illustrator he has done art for popular music acts including Run The Jewels, Kikagaku Moyo, the Alchemist, Wavves, the Black Lips, Sky Ferreira and others. He still lives in New York City, where he makes art, DJs, and edits a quarterly newspaper for Fashion Brand Company called the Fashion Brand Company Quarterly Newspaper. In his free time he paints psychedelic watercolors at most Yankees games.

As a DJ he plays both vinyl and digital sets and aspires to carry on the ideals amd sound of Larry Levan. He most favors dance music of the 1970s and 1980s but prides himself on versatility and plays sets of pretty much any genre you can name.
