The music of this alias focuses on translating the beautifully complex world into relatable electronic compositions for specific moments on the dance floor. An emphasis on unique production techniques and evoking emotion through music give the new sounds of Sasta a distinct tone, and give each track a purpose. Sasta’s DJ sets are powerful, wide ranging, and centered around playing vinyl records he has been collecting for years. He believes the relationships between people and music are best created by going to record shops, sharing, collecting, mixing, and living with the records. This deep connection with the records is evident in his long form sets. He is also an esteemed audio engineer, and is currently the Technical Director at renowned club Public Records in Brooklyn. Having esoteric technical and musical knowledge allows him to embrace all methodologies of music production and DJing, and offers the flexibility to perform in almost any setting.
